completing their Level 3
Specialist Child Protection Training
Bright World Head Office staff have now come to the end of their training with UK
based charity organisation, Child-safe. This means that we have now completed
the first phase of our Safeguarding challenge to ensure that ALL Bright World
Head Office staff are Child Protection trained to the highest level possible.
During the final stage of training, participants covered some difficult and challenging issues as a team. Trainees were also made aware of the support systems now available and were reminded of how to report and manage safeguarding issues. It is important for you as Host Families to remember to relay/report any issues which you feel may be within the domain of child protection straight to Head Office. We have designated Child Protection officers who are trained on how to manage issues which fall under this bracket.
