Twins Triple Title delight at the Nationals

Bright World’s partner school, Stover took the National Prep Schools Athletics Championships by storm yesterday as Luke Bowen-Price and his twin sister Milly Bowen-Price went above and beyond expectations at the Alexander Stadium in Birmingham.

Luke won the Under 13 Discus title with an all-time record-breaking throw of 43.56m. He then followed-up this performance by winning the Under 13 Shot Putt with a new Nationals record distance of 13.97m.

Milly battled the elements to finish 2^nd in the U13 Shot Putt with a distance of 9.67m and then, with her last throw of the competition, she became U13 Discus Champion with a throw of 25.99m

Last week, Luke was competing at the evening athletics meeting, run by Exeter Harriers, and he recorded a distance of 14.48m, the longest Shot Putt ever by an Under 13 UK athlete.
