Students from Bright World partners, New
Hall School,
leading independent boarding and day school in Chelmsford, are celebrating after being
offered places to study at the country’s top universities.
Jan Nedvidek has been offered an unconditional place to read Politics,
Philosophy and Economics at Christ
Church. Daniel Mullens,
who joined New Hall in Year 7, has an offer from St Hugh’s College to read
Classics. Given the exceptionally strong competition for Oxbridge places, this
is a highly commendable achievement.
Katherine Jeffrey, Principal at New Hall School said
“Our congratulations got to Jan and Daniel for their richly deserved success. At New Hall, we pride ourselves on our academic achievements. Our pioneering ‘Diamond Model’ of education, which consists of single-sex teaching at Key Stage 3 and 4 in the Boys’ Division and Girls’ Division, and then co-education for Sixth Form, helps prepare young people for the exciting challenges of university and life beyond. We are now waiting for all our students’ university offers to come through and we look forward to hearing of their successes.”
